After 30 successful years in the restaurant business, Terry Simons turned his love for animals into a career as an internationally recognized dog agility trainer and competitor, winning several National and Regional competitions in both the United States and Canada. His gift with dogs was spotted by Hollywood producers who hired Terry to be an expert commentator for Animal Planet. Most recently, he is in his sixth year as the analyst of FOX’s “The Master’s Agility Championship at Westminster”, and as a recurring judge on The Hallmark Channel’s “American Rescue Dog Show”. Terry’s passion for dogs also prompted him to become a children’s book author with the fun and interactive dog-training book “Ralph’s First Day of School”.
Over the last few years, Terry has also been focused on his 501(c)(3) canine cancer foundation CLEAR – Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research, which he established when he lost his heart and soul Border Collie, Reveille, to lymphoma.
Stacey Zipfel began her career in the domestic distribution arm of PM Entertainment, where she helped promote and sell over seventy “B” films in the United States. In time, she shifted gears and began producing film and television, which led her to be a part of projects for CBS, ABC, Warner Brothers, A&E, Lifetime, USA, and Travel Channel. She is proud to have worked on numerous A&E Biographies and as a producer on LOOK UP IN THE SKY: THE AMAZING STORY OF SUPERMAN.
Shortly after she completed LOOK UP IN THE SKY, Stacey’s career was sidelined by a health scare that resulted in emergency brain surgery. While recovering, she formed Zippery Zoo Productions to allow her more control in creating projects that could help make a difference in the world. She eventually teamed up with CLEAR (Canine Lymphoma Education Awareness and Research) to produce, write and direct the multi-award-winning documentaries, MY FRIEND: CHANGING THE JOURNEY, A REASON TO CHANGE and MY FRIEND: STANDING STRONG.
