Afterlife Evidence Caught on Camera – Austin was the ideal son and an awesome guy. This well-rounded young man was extremely intelligent and excelled in school. Austin enjoyed sports, music, and theater. He had a unique gift of connecting with others, no matter their age, background, or circumstances. Kind and compassionate, he always helped others in need. In middle school, Austin often gave his lunch away to students less fortunate. He deeply loved his parents, Jeff and Nan, his brother Kevin, and his sister Baylee. Austin cherished family gatherings and always spent quality time with every family member, from the youngest to the eldest.
On December 15, 2028, at the age of 23, Austin graduated from college with a degree in Finance and Economics. He soon landed his dream job as a certified financial planner with Vanguard in Scottsdale, Arizona. Leaving the cold weather behind, he moved from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Life was good—until it wasn’t. Austin died tragically in a cold-weather-related accident during a return trip to Wisconsin to spend the holidays with his family. He passed on December 15, 2019—exactly one year from the day he graduated from college.
Needless to say, his parents, Jeff and Nan, and siblings, Kevin and Baylee, spiraled into the dark night of sorrow. Austin was a shining star whose light left our material world dimension too soon. Yet his light was anything but extinguished.
I met Austin’s parents, Jeff and Nan, through Helping Parents Heal. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to assisting bereaved parents by guiding them to evolve beyond emotional devastation to become “Shining Light Parents.” This term means a parent’s love for their child shines forever in their hearts and acknowledgment that their child’s soul shines ever brighter in eternity.
My keynote presentations at Helping Parents Heal Conferences incorporate my “Electromagnetic Soul” (EMS) theory, which describes how our spirit is pure consciousness, which is eternal electromagnetic energy. In other words, your body is like a car and your soul the driver. When the car stops working, your electromagnetic soul leaves the car and lives on in the infinite Light.
The spirits of loved ones communicate not to control us, but to guide us. They do this through “Frequency Beacons” and “Spiritual Synchronicity.” A Frequency Beacon occurs when a spirit sends an energetic impulse to you, which directs your attention to a particular thing or place. Frequency Beacons can occur to one or more people. “Spiritual Synchronicity” occurs when a spirit influences a chain of events. This is how we can end up “at the right place at the right time.” The fascinating aspect of Spiritual Synchronicity is how it often involves several people and a lot of moving parts.
Helping Parents Heal Conferences are held every two years. The last one was in August 2024; the next one will be in August 2026. During the summer of 2025, I was in Chicago for a speaking and spirit communication tour with my manager, Rocky. While we were in Chicago, Rocky and I received an email from Austin’s dad, Jeff. Due to the importance of the chronology of events, it is necessary to present Jeff’s email in its entirety:
“Hi Mark—this is Jeff from Helping Parents Heal— I wanted to share a Spiritual Synchronicity with you. We just completed a 4-day Dad’s Retreat in Arizona. Here it goes:
- Psychic Medium Lisa Wilcoxson explained how our kids in Spirit can muster enough frequency and vibration to manifest an image.
- The very next morning, my cousin, who lives in Arizona, came for a visit, as we missed connecting when she was in Wisconsin in July. She said she had a picture that the family had been holding onto for nearly 3 years, as they weren’t sure how we would receive it.
- The picture was from a trail camera on public land in Mountain, Wisconsin. The photos were taken on 9-21-22.
- The trail camera was owned by a friend (Pete) and coworker of my other cousin’s husband (Jon).
- They were scrolling through the pictures on the trail camera during their lunch hour when Jon asked Pete to zoom in on a dark image in a tree, as they thought it could be a bear.
- They zoomed in, and Jon immediately saw Austin’s image. Jon took still pictures so he could show his wife (my cousin) the pictures.
- Many family members saw these photos, and everyone identified the image as Austin. They agreed not to share the pictures with my wife, Nan, or me.
- Fast forward almost 3 years, to the day after I first heard about this phenomenon, and then my cousin shared the pictures with me—I immediately saw Austin, as did other dads, and my wife and kids back at home.
Mark, the timing seemed to be too much of a ‘coincidence.’ I was meant to see the photos on that day. Then, in our group chat, Tom shared the video of you during a light-circle spirit communication event you conducted that he was part of at the 2024 Helping Parents Heal Conference, where you spoke about the healing synergy of spiritual synchronicities. He had a video with his son driving down a California highway at the exact curve where another mom in the same light circle lost her son. Tom and the Shining Light Mom had never met before this Light Circle with you. I recall you wrote about Tom and this Light Circle experience in the January 2025 edition of ‘Best Holistic Life’ Magazine.
There are no coincidences. I attached the pictures of Austin’s spirit for you to review. One zoomed-in photo of the image in the tree appears to show orbs around Austin’s head.”
As Rocky and I were discussing Jeff’s email, we were driving on I-290 in Chicago. Suddenly, we both saw a sign for exit 23 A, “Austin Blvd.” Rocky immediately snapped a photo of this sign. Talk about Spiritual Synchronicity and Frequency Beacons! Rocky and I not only became part of this Spiritual Synchronistic chain of events, but we also experienced another of Austin’s Frequency Beacons, which was definitely a sign—both literally and figuratively.
This brings us to the trail footage of Austin’s image in the trees. How can this be explained? TV and social media are flooded with all sorts of claims about paranormal activity and spirit contact. Some of these claims are credible, and others are extremely questionable. In order to maintain credibility, it is crucial to apply the scientific method of objective observation. This requires avoiding any conclusions until the evidence is collected and then reviewed objectively.
As an evidential medium, paranormal investigator, and near-death experience researcher, I’ve worked with professionals worldwide who specialize in the study of spiritual phenomena. I’ve seen thousands of photographs of alleged images of spirits captured on both film and in digital format—yet I’ve seldom seen such convincing evidence as the trail camera footage of the image of Austin’s spirit.
Love is an energy that transcends physical death. Austin was a loving, intelligent, and compassionate man. He never would want his family to feel he had left them forever. Rather, through Spiritual Synchronicity and Frequency Beacons, he continues to let them know he will be with them forever.
