Twelve years ago, I found myself exhausted, and tired all the time, from the moment I woke up to the moment I collapsed on the couch in the evening. My patience was thin…unlike my post-baby body which had decided to stubbornly hold onto my additional layers of body fat. Add to this chronic anemia, low-level anxiety, hormonal disruption, poor sleep, and general feelings of apathy and you begin to get a glimpse of how I feeling at the time!
