Musician Eubie Blake at age 95 was quoted as saying “if I’d known I was going to live this long, I would’ve taken much better care of myself.” Well for me, who lost both my parents at age 70, I have been on a quest to find, understand and conquer the secret to a long, happy and healthy life. Growing up on Long Island, New York, “conscious living” was NOT a topic for conversation. In fact, looking back, we were in one of our MOST destructive human phases.
