Whenever I hear the lyrics, I’m reminded of the lowest lows and the highest highs of love. I vividly recall the endless tears, loss of appetite and weight, and depression that hit me like a wrecking ball when a boyfriend of two years confessed to cheating on me. Oh, and he left me for this woman. What’s crazy is, that even after the cheating, it hurt so badly to “lose” him, that I would have done anything to get him “back.”
