The one food that will increase your fertility naturally…

May 8, 2019 by Kela Smith 2 Comments

Hi there! It’s coach Kela and I am here to help you learn what one food you should be eating today to increase your fertility naturally and how I can help you implement this food into your diet with ease.

But first, why am I talking about increasing your fertility naturally?

Good question!

So many women struggle with unexplained infertility. I know I did. For many years I went to doctor after doctor telling my story and getting poked and prodded and kept hearing the same thing. “there is nothing wrong with you or your husband” “You are completely healthy” “Keep trying and it will happen”. Over and over, uhhhhhhhh the frustration of it all. The thing was I knew I was eating healthy, working out correctly, sleeping and managing my stress however I wasn’t eating the right foods, I was exercising to much and was secretly stressing in my sleep. I knew I had to do something and that is when I decided to take my health into my own hands and began researching what foods could put my body in the optimal state for conception. The one food that kept coming up was fat. Fat, fat and more fat.

FAT- Fat is the number one micronutrient that you can add to your diet today to increase your fertility naturally.

How does fat work to do this?

1. Omega 3’s are essential for our own brain and mood health. They do so many wonderful things in our body and are essential to build the baby’s brain.

2. Fat plays an essential role in balancing female sex hormones (progesterone and estrogen), both of which are responsible for controlling the ovulation and menstruation cycle, and maintaining a healthy female reproductive system.

3. Fats are building blocks for every single system in the body including our reproductive system when it comes to conception.

My favorite sources of high-quality fats:

  • Avocado
  • Cold water Salmon
  • Pecans
  • Walnuts
  • Olive oil
  • Olives
  • Dark chocolate
  • Coconut oil
  • Whole eggs
  • Full fat yogurt

Make a plan today to start adding healthy fats to your diet. A good rule of thumb is 1-3 tablespoons per meal. These are so delicious and will keep you super satisfied that you will wonder how you ever lived without them. This will get your body ready for conception, makes your tummy really happy and satisfies you until your next meal.

Love and health,
Coach Kela

I love that you have broken down some of the key foods to improve fertility. I would love to know more. I can’t wait to read more from you about fertility. It seems to be a common issue that people struggle with now. I think it has a lot to do with our nutrition and environment exposure. I would love to hear what you think has caused the increase in infertility.

Hey Dr. Dee yes infertility has become SO rampant because of how our food supply has diminished over the years and how many chemicals, non-food items, etc. are in our food supply. This is what is causing so many people to be suffering from diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune AND infertility. Getting to the heart of the problem and healing us from within with whole food nutrition is what I do in my practice. Let’s get back to nature and away from these man made diseases.
