Why I Stopped Chasing Cures and Started Building Nutritional Frontier
Nutritional Frontiers began with a question I couldn’t shake, even after decades in the health and wellness industry: Why is it still so hard for people to heal and feel well
I’ve spent more than 30 years working in wellness, long enough to watch trends come and go and promises get recycled under new labels. What never seemed to change was the confusion. People were overwhelmed by opinions, by protocols, and by shelves full of supplements, and they were rarely given the education needed to understand how their bodies actually function.
That disconnect is what ultimately led me here.
The Body is Responsive—Not Broken
Growing up, I didn’t see my body as something I could influence. I was husky and assumed that was just how I was built. It wasn’t until college that I learned a truth that changed everything: what you eat, how you move, and how you manage stress directly determine how you feel and function. The body isn’t fixed. It’s responsive.
That realization set the direction for my life’s work.
Living with Type 1 diabetes reinforced that lesson in a very real way. I take insulin. I don’t get to ignore my health or take it for granted. But I also don’t believe in giving my power away. Responsibility and education matter, and unchecked stress will take you down faster than almost anything else. I learned early on that health is about awareness and ownership.
Psoriasis, Candida, and the Power of Preventive Thinking
While studying sports medicine in college, I struggled with severe psoriasis and found myself repeatedly visiting the campus health center. The answers I was given felt incomplete, so I did what I’ve always done: I started digging. Through my own research, I uncovered that I had Candida, an underlying yeast issue that completely changed how I understood my own body. A physician with a strong belief in preventative medicine helped me make the connections, bringing things to a new level of understanding.
That moment redirected my path.
I began to understand that if you wait until people are truly sick, it’s incredibly difficult to turn things around. But if you educate people early, before inflammation, toxicity, and chronic stress take over, you can change the trajectory of their health and, often, their lives. I was pulled into personal training, community health, education, and eventually leadership roles across the nutraceutical industry.
Working directly with people solidified everything I believed. I watched people lose weight, regain energy, and build confidence.

Reaching the Top and Walking Away
Before founding Nutritional Frontiers, I worked my way up to what many would consider the top of the industry, securing a job that seemed like a dream on paper. But the company’s mission had shifted, and education was no longer a priority. Profit and corporate greed had taken center stage.
I couldn’t ignore that. And that’s when Nutritional Frontiers was born.
While there were excellent products on the market, people were having to take too many single nutrients to achieve the health outcomes they desired. Protocols were complicated and unrealistic for anyone to stay compliant with for everyday life. I wanted to make wellness accessible, not by dumbing it down, but by simplifying it intelligently.
The idea was straightforward: take what normally requires five or six separate products and combine them into one comprehensive formulation, eliminating what the body doesn’t need and focusing on what it can actually absorb and use.
The result: better patient outcomes in a shorter time period.
What makes Nutritional Frontiers different isn’t just what we include, but what we leave out. We prioritize purity, potency, bioavailability, and synergy so people can see real results without overwhelming their systems or their lives. Simplification, when done right, creates consistency, and consistency is where transformation happens.
Food Is Information, and the Body Is Always Listening
From the beginning, education has been the foundation of everything we do. Food is information. What you put into your body sends signals all day long. Eat the wrong things consistently, and you create inflammation and dysfunction. Give the body what it needs, and it has an incredible ability to rebalance and heal itself.
Seeing is believing. Receiving testimonials from our healthcare professionals always reinforces “my why.” A practitioner shared that she was treating a six-year-old who had been suffering every time she ate since the age of four. She put her on our Probzyme (probiotic enzyme blend) and our GI Complete (a powdered drink that heals and seals the gut). Within three months, she was digesting her food normally and back to being a happy, playful child. When you witness parents crying from relief that their child finally feels better, does it get more meaningful? Therein lies the gift in the work we do. Those are the moments that stay with me, and they are the reason I am so committed to keeping it going.
At Nutritional Frontiers, we believe health shouldn’t feel extreme or restrictive. I enjoy life. I believe in balance. Wellness should feel hopeful, doable, and sustainable. Eat well most of the time. Move your body. Manage stress. Enjoy dessert without guilt. Just don’t quit on yourself.
Why Modern Medicine Can’t Do This Alone
We’re living in a loud, stressful world, and eating clean and working out alone isn’t enough anymore. Emotional resilience matters. Chronic stress, toxicity, poor nutrition, overmedication, and low-quality supplements have created a system where many people are surviving but not thriving.
Modern medicine is exceptional for trauma and acute care. But most doctor visits today are to treat chronic conditions, and the system simply isn’t designed to support long-term wellness. That’s where our holistic, preventative approaches belong: at the foundation. We should prioritize diet, hydration, emotional health, movement, and targeted supplementation, rather than treating them as afterthoughts.
We aim to meet people where they are. Small, consistent changes, done with intention, create massive results over time.
Rising in Alignment, Not Ego
Last year marked a personal reset for me. A shedding of an old version of myself. A clearing. Like a fire that burns away what no longer fits, so something stronger can emerge. My word of the year is rising, not in ego, but in alignment. Rising in how I show up and serve the mission of making the world healthy.
I’m here to cut through the noise, simplify health, and bring education back into wellness, reminding people that their bodies are not broken and that they simply have been given the wrong information.
Nutritional Frontiers exists to give people hope, making health feel possible again. Our company helps people become stronger, healthier, and more confident: one informed choice at a time
