In this episode of Oh My Heath … There’s HOPE! Jana talks with Kim Hope.
Kim is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. She was diagnosed at 50 with Hashimoto’s and Osteopenia and had to fight for more testing because she attributed her symptoms to “getting to a certain age” her doctor instantly started putting her on a bunch of meds. When she asked how long her doctor said forever. That wasn’t good enough, and she started researching and found a plant-based lifestyle of eating, Personal care, and a clean home. Kim was already working out but almost no changes. Until she changed my food she ate.
“It’s not a destination, it’s the journey.”
Jana and Kim talk about:
1) Food is medicine and life-changing
2) You don’t have to wait for a health diagnosis to start living
3) Giving your body time to adjust and digest
4) Your changing hormones and aging
5) Learn that the foods you are putting in your body are your diet
