In this episode of Oh My Heath … There’s HOPE! Jana talks with Joy Cooper.
Joy has the privilege of sharing her experience of surviving a fatal plane crash. When others told her she would never walk again, she proved that she would do more than that: she would dance again. Joy had her story featured on CBS TV. She has worked in the airline industry for nine years and continues to work as an airport operations manager for United Airlines. The plane crash broke every extremity, threatening to destroy everything she had worked for, but through the grace of God, she has learned secrets to overcoming the impossible and living a fulfilled life, regardless of the circumstances.
“My trauma does not define me, my response determines my outcome.”
