Which is why marketing takes up a rather large chunk of our budgets. But did you know that one of the best ways to improve your digital marketing is by going live?

Not only is it quick and relatively painless, it is also FREE! Some of the best ways to improve your companies exposure are often free, such as blogging and going live on your social media. Going live comes with a number of benefits. One of the biggest being the fact that it is free and helps increase your exposure. With the influx of video marketing, it’s hard to stay on budget and provide beautiful, attention-grabbing content to your followers. Luckily, live streaming is easy to do and free of cost. This means you don’t need a fancy camera, set design or editing skills. All you need is a smart phone and great content to share.

Branding is one of the most important things you can do for your business. It is away to convey your vision and mission by creating an overall feeling for your company. All successful businesses are constantly reinforcing their brands. Everything you do should stay on brand! One of the fastest ways to strengthen your brand is through live streaming on social media. It is a massive opportunity for brand exposure that has zero cost. Live streaming is more integrated and easier to arrange than ever before. Your audience can now connect from anywhere via their mobile phones.

It pays to be prepared! One of the best things about having streaming options available on your social media is the fact that you can pre-record content and post it whenever you want. Because of the versatility that comes with the stories feature you are able to run promotional content (such as videos, photos, polls, quizzes, etc.) or go live. While going live is a great way to directly interact with your audience using pre-recorded content is another amazing way to promote your products. Again it is totally free (unless you really want to get fancy) and you are providing your customers with yet another way to interact with you. Quizzes can be a great way to get even the most reluctant of customers to engage in conversation with you.

How To Make The Most Of It

Now that you are sold on giving live streaming a try here are a couple of quick tips to help you get the most out of it. Plan ahead, let your audience know you are going to be going live ahead of time. It helps to know what you are going to be talking about during the live and creating an event reminder can help increase your audience turn out. Make sure you have an outline of your main talking points and be sure you are offering content your viewers want or need. Take your time, viewers take a while to sign on which means it pays to have longer lives. I also like to do quick short tips that are 5 minutes or less throughout the week. Lastly, give your audience an action to take or free gift as an incentive.
